We are seeking an experienced and visionary Lead Mechanical Engineer to spearhead our product development initiatives in Seattle, Washington, US . This is a pivotal role for an individual with a passion for bringing innovative concepts from ideation to market. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of mechanical design principles, advanced manufacturing processes, and product lifecycle management. Responsibilities include leading a team of mechanical engineers, overseeing the design and development of new products, conducting rigorous analysis and simulation (FEA, CFD), and ensuring designs meet performance, cost, and manufacturability targets. You will be instrumental in defining project roadmaps, managing resources, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineering, software development, and industrial design. Expertise in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA) and a strong understanding of materials science and thermodynamics are essential. Experience with prototyping, testing, and validation of complex mechanical systems is also required. We are looking for a results-oriented leader with exceptional problem-solving abilities, strong project management skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering and significant relevant industry experience are mandatory. Experience in consumer electronics or advanced manufacturing is a strong plus.
