Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of research scientists in drug discovery and development projects. Design and execute complex research experiments, including in vitro and in vivo studies. Develop and validate novel assays and methodologies relevant to therapeutic targets. Analyze and interpret experimental data, drawing meaningful conclusions and identifying next steps. Contribute to the strategic direction of research programs and identify new research opportunities. Prepare detailed research reports, protocols, and scientific publications. Present research findings to internal teams, cross-functional partners, and at scientific conferences. Collaborate with external partners, academic institutions, and contract research organizations (CROs). Ensure compliance with all relevant laboratory safety and regulatory guidelines. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively. Qualifications:
Ph.D. in Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field. Minimum of 8 years of post-doctoral and industry research experience in drug discovery. Proven experience leading scientific research projects and teams. Extensive knowledge of drug discovery processes and mechanisms of action. Expertise in relevant therapeutic areas (e.g., oncology, neuroscience, immunology). Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals.
