Reports to Process Department Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead Process Engineer for Feasibility and Concept study / Pre-FEED / FEED / Detailed Engineering for the assigned projects.
• Lead a team of Process Engineers
• Ensure all Process engineering deliverables are prepared and issued in adherence with project schedule, tender requirements, fit for purpose and quality and complete the project within the budgeted hours.
• Prepare/Review of process simulations.
• Actively participate in workshops such as Design Review, HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, PHA, constructability Reviews and provide close out to process related actions.
• Ensure the Designers are familiarized with the scope of the project in order to prepare all drawings and detail in full compliance with the project requirements.
• Manages internal interfaces with Project Managers and Project Engineering Managers for the assigned projects.
• Provide technical guidance, job training to discipline engineers/junior engineers to ensure schedule adherence and quality of engineering documents.

REQUIREMENTS

• ADNOC approved Lead Process engineer is ideal for this role.
• Minimum of 15-18 years of professional experience in Process Engineering and Design of Oil & Gas facilities (On-shore / Off-shore).
• Experience in feasibility studies, conceptual design pre-FEED, FEED and Detailed Design as a Lead Engineer.
• Academic Education to BS or equivalent level minimum in Chemical Engineering from accredited University. Postgraduate degree will be an advantage.
• Strong technical knowledge in the relevant discipline.
• Strong design and analytical skills with problem solving ability.
• Good verbal and written communication, report writing and presentation skills.
• Hands-On experience in process simulation tools (HYSYS, UNISIM, PROMAX)
• Hydraulic Simulations (Pipenet, Korf, OLGA), Familiar with Aveva IED Tools, Smart Plant (PID)
• Familiar with International codes and standards, Company standards.
