They are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Lead Process Engineer to drive the development and optimization of manufacturing processes for novel materials. This role is critical to ensuring the scalability, efficiency, and quality of our production lines.
As the Lead Process Engineer, you will be instrumental in:
Designing, implementing, and refining manufacturing processes for new and existing advanced materials. Troubleshooting and resolving complex production issues to minimize downtime and maximize output. Collaborating with R&D teams to ensure a seamless transition of new materials from lab-scale to full-scale production. Developing and conducting process validation studies to ensure product consistency and quality standards are met. Creating and maintaining detailed process documentation, including SOPs, P&IDs, and equipment specifications. Leading and mentoring a team of process engineers and technicians. Identifying and evaluating new technologies and equipment to enhance manufacturing capabilities. Ensuring all processes comply with safety regulations and environmental standards. Analyzing production data to identify trends and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
The ideal candidate will possess:
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a closely related field. A minimum of 8 years of experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment, with a significant portion focused on advanced materials. Proven experience in process design, scale-up, and troubleshooting in a high-volume production setting. Strong understanding of material science principles and their application in manufacturing. Proficiency with simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus) and statistical analysis tools (e.g., Minitab). Excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a meticulous attention to detail. Strong leadership and team management experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present technical information.
