Our client is looking for a distinguished Lead Quantitative Analyst to join their globally distributed Banking & Finance division. This is a fully remote, remote-first opportunity for an individual with exceptional analytical and modeling capabilities. You will be instrumental in developing sophisticated financial models, risk assessment tools, and trading strategies. Your expertise will be applied across various financial instruments, including derivatives, equities, and fixed income. Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and testing quantitative models for pricing, hedging, and risk management. You will analyze large datasets to identify market trends and opportunities, contributing to investment decisions. This role requires deep knowledge of statistical modeling, stochastic calculus, machine learning, and econometrics. You will collaborate closely with portfolio managers, traders, and other quantitative professionals through virtual channels, leveraging cutting-edge communication and collaboration tools. A significant part of your role will involve documenting models, assumptions, and results, as well as presenting complex findings to senior management and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. The ideal candidate holds a Master's or Ph.D. in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Financial Engineering, coupled with at least 8 years of relevant experience in quantitative finance. Proficiency in programming languages like Python, R, C++, or Java is mandatory. Experience with big data technologies and cloud computing platforms is highly desirable. You must be a self-starter, highly organized, and possess excellent problem-solving skills to thrive in a remote work environment.
