Job Description
Lead Fab equipment engineering teams to ensure high tool uptime, reliability, and stable manufacturing operations. Drive preventive/predictive maintenance, optimize equipment performance, resolve chronic tool issues, and support yield and cost‑reduction projects. Oversee tool installations, upgrades, safety compliance, and vendor management.
Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor equipment engineers/technicians
- Improve MTBF, MTTR, OEE, and cost‑of‑ownership
- Execute PM/CM programs and data‑driven troubleshooting
- Lead root-cause analysis and cross‑functional problem solving
- Handle spare parts, budgets, and vendor relationships
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related field
- 8–12+ years semiconductor equipment experience; 3–5+ years leadership
- Strong knowledge of frontend fab or backend toolsets and reliability engineering
- Proficient in SPC, FDC, and equipment analytics
- Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills
- Lean/Six Sigma/TPM experience is an advantage
