Key Responsibilities:
Conceptualize, design, and execute cutting-edge research projects in biotechnology, with a focus on (specific area, e.g., oncology, immunology, neurobiology). Lead and mentor a team of talented research associates and scientists, fostering a collaborative and productive research environment. Analyze and interpret complex experimental data, drawing sound conclusions and identifying next steps. Develop and optimize new experimental methodologies and protocols. Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets effectively to ensure timely delivery of research milestones. Stay abreast of the latest scientific literature and technological advancements in the field. Prepare and present research findings at internal meetings and external scientific conferences. Contribute to the preparation of grant proposals and manuscripts for publication in high-impact journals. Ensure strict adherence to laboratory safety protocols and ethical guidelines. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including drug discovery, clinical development, and regulatory affairs. Qualifications:
PhD in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, Immunology, or a related life science field. Minimum of 8 years of post-doctoral research experience, with a significant portion in an industry R&D setting. Demonstrated expertise in (specific techniques, e.g., CRISPR gene editing, next-generation sequencing, protein engineering, cell-based assays).
