Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage research projects focused on oncology drug discovery and development. Design and execute innovative experimental strategies to identify and validate novel therapeutic targets. Oversee preclinical studies, including in vitro assays and in vivo models. Analyze and interpret complex biological and chemical data. Mentor and guide a team of research scientists and technicians. Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., pharmacology, DMPK, clinical) and external partners. Stay current with the latest scientific literature and advancements in oncology research. Prepare research reports, presentations, and contribute to scientific publications and patents. Manage research resources, including budgets and laboratory equipment. Contribute to the strategic direction of the oncology research portfolio. Qualifications: Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Cancer Biology, Pharmacology, or a related discipline. Minimum of 7 years of post-doctoral and/or industry research experience in oncology. Proven track record of leading research projects and managing scientific teams. Extensive knowledge of cancer biology, signaling pathways, and therapeutic modalities. Experience with a variety of research techniques including genomics, proteomics, cell-based assays, and animal models. Strong publication record in high-impact peer-reviewed journals. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment. Experience with hybrid work models and managing research progress remotely when necessary.
