Job Overview

As a Lead Senior Data Scientist, you will take on significant responsibilities managing multiple projects and mentoring fellow team members. Your analytical and methodical approach will be vital in extracting meaningful insights from large datasets. You will work independently while contributing to team success, ensuring accuracy and clarity in all aspects of your analyses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, prioritize, and manage diverse data science projects, establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) to track success.
• Define and communicate governance principles to ensure data integrity.
• Develop and test hypotheses on business processes through robust quantitative analysis.
• Implement statistical analysis and visualization techniques, including hierarchical clustering, t-SNE, and PCA.
• Utilize advanced machine learning techniques for classification and predictive tasks, integrating domain knowledge to enhance ML models.
• Understand new data sources and processing pipelines, while documenting and cataloging them for accessibility.
• Train business and IT staff on fundamental data science methodologies.
• Foster collaboration and network with internal and external partners to drive innovation.
• Encourage teamwork among various data science groups within the organization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
• A minimum of five years of experience in data science, preferably in a reputable company.

Salary: $90,800 - $140,000
