About Our Client
Our client is a specialized manufacturer serving the consumer, medical, and construction sectors. With 150 employees and a recently renovated production facility, they aim to double in size over the next five years. This LEAN Manufacturing Engineer will play a critical role in advancing their production capabilities to support that growth. They are the clear leader in their product line and are well positioned to maintain their market dominance.
Job Description
- Analyze and enhance manufacturing processes related to assembly, testing, packaging, and logistics.
- Collaborate with teams at all levels to challenge existing practices and drive meaningful improvements.
- Utilize lean tools such as 5S, KPIs, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Kaizen, Statistical Process Control (SPC), and Pareto analysis to implement process enhancements.
- Plan and design layouts for optimal space utilization, workflow, and workforce efficiency.
- Standardize processes and implement best practices along with performance metrics.
- Develop training materials for technical processes, including robotics and manual machine interfaces.
- Mentor and train employees on new processes and lean methodologies.

The Successful Applicant
- A Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in lean engineering within a manufacturing environment; Belt certification in lean manufacturing is preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks, with the ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Strong analytical skills to aggregate, interpret, and present data effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex concepts clearly.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with ERP systems and database management.

- Base salary: $90,000-$110,000 depending on experience
- Bonus: 5%
