Job description:
Position Summary:
Responsible for developing and optimizing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality and cost in a vertically integrated manufacturing environment (CNC machining, manual machining, sheet metal fabrication, welding & manual assembly). This position supports new product introduction, product data management, continuous improvement, fixture design, data analysis and cross-functional team projects.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Creates and revises CNC programs (Haas VF-4 & UMC-750) using Autodesk Fusion.
- Design fixtures and other equipment for the production process using Autodesk Inventor.
- Utilize additive manufacturing to produce fixtures and other equipment.
- Maintain and revise production routers and other production documents.
- Analyze process data to identify improvements.
- Analyze production KPI’s and manufacturing cost data.
- Create production work instructions.
- Create test procedures.
- Lead APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) projects.
- Submits ECNs (Engineering Change Notices) as necessary.
- Provide technical support to shop floor employees.
- Lead Lean Six Sigma projects
Competencies:
- Able to work with minimal supervision and capable of self-checking for completeness and accuracy of work produced.
- Experience using enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems to maintain production routers and BOM's.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of CAD and design principles of additive manufacturing.
- Haas VF-4 setup and operating experience is a plus.
- Experience with Raise 3D E2 or Bambu Labs X1E 3D printing or similar equipment is a plus.
- Experience with RevoPoint Miraco Scanner or similar equipment is a plus.
- Experience maintaining production route documents is a plus.
- Lean manufacturing training is a plus.
- Proficient with Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD.
- Proficiency with Autodesk Fusion is a plus.
- Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook). Access and Power BI are plus.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Willingness to learn new skills.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Proficient with common hand tools and measuring instruments.
- Lean Six Sigma experience
Required education and experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of related experience.
