About the Role

The Legal Operations Lead, Contract Systems is a technically fluent legal operations operator who will help scale DoorDash’s contracting systems, AI-enabled workflows, and global template governance operations. This role will support and own defined workstreams across contract systems optimization, workflow administration, AI tooling rollout, metadata readiness, testing, and implementation coordination.

This role will serve as a key partner in the administration and continuous improvement of DoorDash’s contract lifecycle management environment, including workflow and repository configuration, template governance, testing and go-live readiness, and post-launch support. You will work closely with vendor Technical Account Managers, DoorDash Engineers, Data Systems leads, GTM partners, Sales Ops, Deal Desk, and cross-functional Legal stakeholders to document integration requirements, support field and data mapping, coordinate testing, and track implementation dependencies across contracting and intake platforms.

You will report to the Manager of Contract Operations on our Legal Operations team within the Legal organization. This role may be 100% remote or hybrid from one of our office locations.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…

Support and own defined workstreams within AI-enabled contracting tool implementation, including requirements documentation, testing coordination, rollout support, adoption tracking, and continuous improvement.

Support ongoing administration and optimization of DoorDash’s contract lifecycle management environment, including workflow, intake, repository, metadata, and AI configuration updates.

Partner with vendor technical teams, DoorDash Engineers, Data Systems, GTM, Sales Ops, Deal Desk, and Legal stakeholders to document integration requirements, support field/data mapping, coordinate testing, and track implementation dependencies.

Administer global contract template governance processes, including template change management, repository oversight, clause metadata, version tracking, and governance documentation.

Translate legal and business requirements into clear workflow requirements, metadata structures, field mappings, implementation plans, test scenarios, and reporting-ready processes.

Coordinate UAT, smoke testing, go-live readiness, post-launch issue tracking, training materials, status updates, and stakeholder communications for tooling, workflow, and template changes.

Build implementation plans, training materials, status updates, and stakeholder communications for legal technology and contract operations initiatives.

We're Excited About You Because…

You have 4+ years of experience in legal operations, contract operations, legal technology, technical program management, or systems implementation.

You have hands-on experience supporting CLM, workflow, intake, repository, or business systems administration.

You are comfortable translating legal and business requirements into technical workflows, metadata structures, and implementation plans.

You have strong project and change management skills and can lead cross-functional initiatives in fast-moving environments.

You are comfortable partnering with vendor technical teams, engineers, and data stakeholders on integrations, testing, and rollout planning.

You have experience working across enterprise systems such as Ironclad, Salesforce, Databricks, Snowflake, or similar platforms, and are comfortable supporting integrations, API configurations, data mappings, testing, and rollout planning.

You communicate clearly across legal, business, and technical audiences and can drive alignment across cross-functional stakeholders.

We expect this position to be filled by 7/20/26.
