Linux Operations Engineer - Systematic Hedge Fund

Paragon Alpha is partnering with a leading systematic hedge fund that has delivered returns of around 30% throughout the 2020s, and is now looking to grow their New York office with a Linux Operations Engineer.

You will be responsible for ensuring the stability and performance of their global Linux environment, which supports the firm’s trading and research platforms.

This includes supporting trading systems in a high-performance Linux environment, deploying new servers and managing the end-to-end build processes, and will be hands-on with production, automation, and system optimization.

Ideally looking for someone with Linux administration experience, exposure to scripting languages (Python, Bash), and experience with automation tools.
