Job Summary
The Loan Accounting / Loan Servicing Administrator is responsible for performing end-to-end loan servicing and administration activities in accordance with documented policies, procedures, and required timeframes. This role supports commercial lending operations through accurate processing, reconciliation, and review of loan transactions, with a strong focus on loan data integrity, payments, interest calculations, and system maintenance. The position requires close attention to detail, the ability to interpret credit agreements, and frequent collaboration with internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Loan Servicing & Administration
- Process loan payment applications, fund disbursements, and rate-setting transactions in ACBS, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Notify syndicate members and sold participants of applicable loan transactions.
- Book new borrowers, credit facilities, loans, letters of credit, and fees in loan administration systems.
- Perform ongoing customer, credit facility, and loan-level maintenance.
- Support loan administration needs for other departments during peak periods.
Loan Accounting & Payment Review
- Work within the Loan Accounting team supporting payments, interest, principal, P&L, and paid-to-bill bundles.
- Review notices, interest rates, interest payments, principal balances, paid-to-bundle activity, and beginning balances.
- Verify loan data against authorized documentation and credit agreements.
- Identify, flag, and document discrepancies; clearly note errors and route items appropriately through workflow.
- Release verified and authorized loan data for further processing.
Reconciliation & Controls
- Review, investigate, and resolve items appearing on reconciliations and control reports accurately and within required timelines.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit standards.
Documentation & Administrative Support
- Read and interpret credit agreements as they relate to loan servicing and administration.
- Manage assigned email inboxes, including review of attachments and loan files received from internal partners, banks, and direct customers.
- Assist in managing the shared closing mailbox.
- Coordinate signature pages and perform bulk filing of loan documentation.
Business Continuity
- Serve as Mission Critical Personnel, supporting business continuity efforts during reduced staffing or contingency scenarios.
Projects & Initiatives
- Support non-processing tasks, departmental initiatives, and special projects as assigned.
Systems & Tools
- Heavy use of ACBS, Outlook, and PDF documentation tools
- Loan administration and accounting systems
Required Qualifications (Must Haves)
- Minimum of 2 years of loan documentation or loan servicing experience
- OR
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent coursework in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies in financial and loan data
- Ability to interpret loan and credit documentation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications (Best Vs. Average)
- Commercial lending or commercial loan servicing experience
- Related education in finance, accounting, or business disciplines

Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
