Job Title: Business Data Analyst

Contract: 12 Months
About the Role:
We are looking for a Business Data Analyst who combines strong analytical thinking with business acumen to uncover insights that drive strategic and operational decisions.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can partner effectively with stakeholders, define analytical requirements, and translate data into actionable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand objectives, define KPIs, and translate them into measurable metrics (building data pipelines, KPI creations, and root cause analysis).
- Generate hypotheses, analyze data to validate or refute them, and deliver insights that inform business strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into data solutions.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to track performance and trends.
- Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources.
- Use Python (or similar scripting tools) for deeper analysis, automation, and model development.
- Present findings and recommendations to business and technical teams in a clear, compelling way.
Qualifications & Skills
Must Have:
- Strong business acumen with a track record of linking analytics to tangible business outcomes.
- Hands-on experience in SQL, Python, and data visualization tools (e.g., QlikView, Qlik Sense, Tableau).
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, including hypothesis-driven analysis.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, or cloud platforms (AWS).
- Exposure to statistical analysis, A/B testing, or predictive modeling
