We are seeking an experienced M&E Engineer / Senior M&E Engineer to lead and manage Mechanical & Electrical works across construction projects. This role involves end-to-end coordination, site execution, and stakeholder management for systems including ACMV, Fire Protection, and Electrical.
You will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory standards.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage M&E works across multiple construction projects
- Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning for:
- ACMV (HVAC systems, ventilation, chilled water systems)
- Fire Protection (sprinkler, hydrant, fire alarm systems)
- Electrical (power distribution, lighting, ELV systems)
- Review and coordinate M&E drawings, shop drawings, and technical submissions
- Liaise with consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, and authorities
- Ensure compliance with local regulations (e.g. BCA, SCDF, safety standards)
- Monitor project schedule, progress, cost control, and quality standards
- Identify and resolve technical issues on-site
- Support tendering, budgeting, and procurement processes
- Mentor junior engineers and supervise site teams
🎓 Requirements
- Diploma / Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering
- Preferably > 2 years' experience in M&E construction projects
- Strong hands-on experience in at least one discipline:
- Fire Protection / ACMV / Electrical
- Good knowledge of local codes and authority submission processes
- Proficient in AutoCAD; BIM knowledge is an advantage
- Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced site environment
