Our flagship Minimally Invasive μ-ECoG™ System enables high-density, large-area brain signal decoding without craniotomy. This flexible, epidural, and MRI-compatible technology holds transformative potential for epilepsy surgery, stroke rehabilitation, speech decoding, and tumor treating fields (TTF).

The Role

  • Location: Hong Kong, China / Shenzhen, China / Silicon Valley, California, U.S.
  • Type: Full-time | On-site / Hybrid

The Job

  • Develop and optimize deep-learning pipelines for decoding speech, motor intention, and cognitive states from μ-ECoG data.
  • Design and train neural networks (RNN, CNN, Transformer, temporal convolutional models) for real-time speech and movement generation.
  • Collaborate with neuroscientists to label, analyze, and interpret high-gamma ECoG datasets.
  • Implement low-latency inference and embedded AI modules for on-device decoding.
  • Support closed-loop BCI systems with adaptive signal processing and feedback control.

About You

  • M.S./Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Neuroscience, or related field.
  • Strong background in machine learning, signal processing, and neural data analysis.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, with hands‑on experience developing and training neural network models using PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, or PyTorch Lightning.
  • Experience with ECoG/EEG datasets, speech decoding, or motion tracking preferred.
  • Bonus: Experience with edge AI deployment or real‑time inference optimization.
