In this role you will bridge cutting-edge ML research and shipped camera and photo features, turning theoretical breakthroughs into delightful user experiences. You will design novel image-understanding architectures, training strategies, and intelligent systems that scale with hundreds of millions of users. You’ll prototype fast, validate with interpretability methods, and collaborate with designers, engineers, and researchers to push the boundaries of visual AI in everyday photography. Responsabilità
- MS or PhD in Computer Science, ML, AI, EE, Applied Math, Statistics, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Experience in ML/vision with a strong portfolio of models or published research
- Deep understanding of modern ML architectures and techniques (transformers, diffusion models, contrastive learning, multi-modal models)
- Proficiency with PyTorch and full model lifecycle from research to deployment
- Experience with image understanding tasks (semantic segmentation, scene recognition, captioning, VQA, aesthetics, retrieval)
- Strong software engineering foundation
