Machine Learning Engineering Manager

About the Role:

Meta is looking for a passionate and driven Machine Learning Engineering Manager to join our forward-thinking team. In this critical leadership role, you will inspire innovation and collaboration, harnessing your extensive technical expertise to elevate our projects and products to new heights.

Your Responsibilities:

• Lead and coach a talented team of software engineers to produce exceptional software solutions.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to promote technical innovation and showcase your proven experience.

What We’re Looking For:

• Demonstrated expertise in recruiting and managing high-performing technical teams, focusing on performance management.
• A minimum of 12 years of software engineering experience, or a Ph.D. with 8 years, including solid technical management experience.
• An academic background in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (BS or MS) or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of experience managing managers and 5 years of experience managing technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience in technical management and building large-scale systems, algorithms, and toolsets in the Machine Learning space.

Compensation Package:

Annual salary ranges from $219,000 to $301,000, plus bonuses, equity, and comprehensive benefits.
