Job Description

The Job

You will join the Maintenance Section to upkeep the manufacturing plants equipped with latest technology and advanced engineering control, and support the Maintenance Manager in accomplishing corporate business objectives.

The Daily

  • Manage maintenance and instrumentation activities for facilities in the manufacturing plants for safe and smooth operations.
  • Coordinate and execute major field maintenance works with no compromise to safety of workers and integrity of facilities.
  • Liaise with internal and external business units on maintenance activities to ensure timely completion of maintenance works and no disruption to plant operations.
  • Carry out instrumentation application study and modification of plant facilities according to technical specification and business requirements.
  • Conduct and arrange training for staff and contractor to enhance their skill and competency levels.
  • Implement management systems based on standards stipulated under ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and SS651.

The Essentials

  • Possess a Bachelor Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering with 3 to 5 years of working experience.
  • Basic knowledge in programmable logic controller (PLC) and human machine interfaces (HMI) will have an added advantage.
  • Essential prerequisites include good analytical & problem-solving skills, ability to communicate with staff in different functions & contractors, and strong spirit of collaboration & teamwork.
