Malware Research Engineer

A company is looking for a Malware Research Engineer who is motivated to protect users from emerging cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities

Process daily threat-feeds and write detection rules for various technologies

Investigate and resolve customer inquiries related to protection and usability

Conduct research and threat hunting for the latest cyber threats affecting customers

Required Qualifications

Experience with malware research tools for static and dynamic analysis

Ability to conduct research in emulated / virtual environments like VMWare or Hyper-V

Basic understanding of various operating systems, including Windows, Linux, Mac, and Android

Knowledge of researching and classifying malicious domains and IPs

Passion for staying updated on the latest malware threats and collaborating with teams
