Brief Overview

Ensures efficient and effective automation of software testing and development processes by planning and strategizing test scenarios, collaborating with stakeholders, and staying updated with industry trends. Contributes to improved quality, faster delivery, and enhanced productivity by maintaining test automation frameworks, creating robust and reusable test scripts, executing automated tests, and integrating automation into the CI/CD pipeline.

What You Will Do

• Develop complex automated scripts to streamline and optimize manual processes.
• Implement and maintain automation tools and technologies, ensuring efficient and reliable execution of automated tests and processes.
• Identify opportunities for automation within software development, infrastructure, and operations workflows, leveraging industry best practices and continuous improvement principles.
• Communicate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, quality assurance, and operations, to define automation requirements and ensure seamless integration into existing systems.
• Conduct routine tests and validation of automated workflows and scripts, ensuring accurate and robust functionality across different environments and scenarios.
• Debug automation issues, provide timely resolution, and implement preventive measures to minimize future occurrences.

Measures to minimize future occurrences

• Analyze complex automated processes and test results, identify areas for improvement and optimize performance to enhance efficiency and reliability.
• Train and support team members in the use of automation tools and frameworks, promoting knowledge sharing and empowering others to leverage automation capabilities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and document automation requirements, specifications, and test plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of work experience.
• Working knowledge of problem solving and decision making skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• ISA Certified Automation Professional (CAP).
• Certified Software Tester (CSTE).
• Any Healthcare Industry Certification.

Education

• Bachelor's degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification.

Pay Range

Typical pay range for this role is $92,700.00 – $185,400.00 per year. This range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
