The Position:
The Manager, Billing Analytics is an individual contributor role focused on enabling Reimbursement Operations leaders with highquality reporting, measurement, and analytics that strengthen decisionmaking and operational performance. This role serves as the primary analytics partner to reimbursement operations and requires a selfstarter with a strong analytical mindset, technical depth, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. Experience in reimbursement or medical billing analyticsparticularly within an advanced diagnostics laboratory environmentis critical to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner closely with Reimbursement Operations leaders to understand business challenges, define analytical needs, and deliver datadriven insights that support operational and strategic decisions.
- Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytical models across the full lifecycle, from requirements gathering through deployment and iteration.
- Perform deepdive analyses to quantify operational performance, identify trends, surface risks, and uncover opportunities for improvement.
- Work extensively with Python, R, SQL, Excel, and BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI to analyze and visualize data.
- Capture and document business and technical requirements, perform quality control checks, and support user acceptance testing in partnership with stakeholders.
- Prepare and maintain recurring reports and key performance indicators to monitor reimbursement and billing operational health.
- Support training and enablement of end users on dashboards and analytical tools to promote data literacy and selfservice analytics.
- Collaborate crossfunctionally with data, technology, finance, and operations teams in a fastpaced, evolving environment.
Who You Are:
- Bachelors degree in an IT, STEM, or related field; other degrees considered with relevant experience.
- 5+ years of experience in a technical analytics role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience using it for analytical purposes.
- Intermediate experience with Python and/or R for data analysis and modeling.
- Handson experience modeling data in cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery.
- Proven experience designing and delivering dashboards and data visualizations in Tableau or a comparable BI platform, with a strong focus on clarity and usability.
- Ability to manipulate, integrate, and analyze large, complex, and disconnected datasets.
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders, managing expectations, and translating business questions into analytical solutions.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and criticalthinking skills, with the ability to clearly communicate insights and recommendations to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to independently own complex problems, learn new technologies quickly, and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
- Strong organizational skills and a solid understanding of business processes and systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with reimbursement operations or medical billing analytics, ideally within an advanced diagnostics or laboratory setting.
- Familiarity with ETL processes, data governance, model operationalization, and data lake or warehouse buildouts.
- Experience applying statistical techniques such as hypothesis testing, regression, and distributions to solve business problems.

The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience, skillset, geographic location, industry, education, etc. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
