About the role

Original posting from Orcabiosystems via Lever

More than one million people in the United States today are fighting blood cancer. While a traditional allogeneic stem cell transplant has been the best hope for many, the transplant itself can prove fatal or lead to serious conditions, such as graft vs. host disease. Orca Bio is a late-stage biotechnology company redefining the transplant process by developing next-generation cell therapies with the goal of providing significantly better survival rates with dramatically fewer risks. With our purified, high-precision investigational cell therapies we hope to not only replace patients' blood and immune systems with healthy ones, but also restore their lives.

The Manager,Facilities is responsible for overseeing and maintaining the physical tenant infrastructure, coordinating and executing maintenance and calibration/certification activities, operating utility systems, managing service providers, maintaining GMP and safety compliance, and serving as the liaison with the building landlord.  They will work closely with other departments to support the overall goals of the organization, including managing facilities programs, services and activities.

This will be an onsite role at our clinical manufacturing facility (3400 Business Drive) with a schedule of Monday - Friday (7 a.m. / 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. / 5 p.m.).
