Global Transaction Analytics (GTA)

A&M's GTA practice within the Transaction Advisory Group is experiencing rapid growth, offering an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team. We are on the lookout for a Senior Associate who is eager to contribute their expertise to help clients navigate the investment lifecycle from pre-deal to post-deal analysis.

A&M GTA delivers crucial data analytics services, unlocking actionable insights to support our clients’ M&A, divestment, and investment strategies. Our global team leverages cutting-edge technology, advanced analytics capabilities, and A&M's operational, functional, and industry expertise to generate relevant business insights.

How You Will Contribute

As a Manager in our GTA practice, you will collaborate with a highly motivated team on a variety of projects across several industries, including but not limited to manufacturing, distribution, consumer, retail, restaurants, business and industrial services, healthcare, software & technology, energy, and financial services. Your expertise will enhance our clients’ operations by providing data-driven business, financial, and operational transparency during pre-acquisition due diligence or post-acquisition performance improvement endeavors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead multiple client engagements with confidence
  • Effectively manage daily client interactions and relationships
  • Identify and contribute proactively to business development opportunities
  • Prioritize team responsibilities and consult with senior team members across various deals
  • Cultivate cohesive collaboration among diverse stakeholders
  • Guide and mentor junior team members, enhancing their technical skills
  • Recruit, train, and develop junior staff, including delivering training sessions as required

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in data analytics or transaction services
  • Buy-side/vendor due diligence experience across various industries preferred
  • Understanding of the M&A / PE investment lifecycle is preferred
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Proficient in data extraction, manipulation, analytics, and visualization techniques
  • Strong technical background with practical data analytics experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, relational databases/SQL querying, Alteryx, business intelligence/visualization (Tableau preferred), and familiar with big data and machine learning concepts
  • Familiar with leveraging business intelligence software
  • Ability to articulate complex technical concepts succinctly
  • Exceptional project management skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
  • Flexibility to work effectively as a team member and as an individual contributor
  • Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced environments

The base salary for this position is $160,000 annually, based on various factors including education, experience, skills, and geography. Additionally, A&M offers a discretionary bonus program, continge
