Position Overview:
The Manager of Enterprise Risk Management will take the lead in strengthening our Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework, ensuring thorough risk identification, assessment, and mitigation across the organization. This vital role will oversee essential risk governance processes, manage business continuity planning, and provide crucial support for executive and board-level reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Risk Assessment Management:
- Drive the execution of ERM initiatives to enhance the organization's risk maturity.
- Lead comprehensive risk assessments and conduct engaging risk workshops across different business units.
- Analyze and interpret risk data to identify trends and emerging risks.
- Collaborate with various departments to craft effective risk response strategies.
- Act as the system owner for AuditBoard Risk Oversight, ensuring timely updates of risk and control information.
- Maintain system integrity and provide user support and training as needed.
- Business Continuity Planning:
- Develop and enhance the business continuity program (BCP).
- Design and lead simulations and tabletop exercises to evaluate BCP effectiveness.
- Work alongside the business to assess test outcomes, identify gaps, and implement necessary improvements.
- Ensure continuity plans are practical and align with current operational needs.
- Integrate continuity planning efforts with ERM initiatives.
- Crisis Management Support:
- Work together with the Crisis Management Lead to ensure cohesive strategies between crisis responses and BCP.
- Provide operational assistance during crises and facilitate post-incident evaluations.
- Executive and Board Liaison:
- Deliver insightful risk analyses and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Support regulatory and financial requirements related to ERM and business continuity.
- Prepare detailed ERM reports, dashboards, and presentations for the Executive Leadership Team and Board of Directors.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in enterprise risk management, audit, compliance, or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of risk frameworks such as COSO, COBIT, and ISO 31000, along with business continuity planning.
- Experience with AuditBoard or similar platforms for risk management.
- Proven ability to create insightful reports for executive management and boards.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Able to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Education Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a relevant field.
- Professional certifications such as CRMP, CBCP, or CISA are advantageous.
Travel Expectations:
- Some travel may be required as part of the role.
Compensation Transparency: The estimated annual base salary for this position is $110,000 - $150,000, plus a discretionary annual bonus. Pay ranges may vary by location.
