Position Summary:

The Manager, Risk Management Strategy plays a pivotal role in guiding the organization's Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework. This position is essential for ensuring effective identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks across the enterprise. You will also be responsible for overseeing key governance processes, business continuity planning, and providing vital support for reporting to executives and the board.

General Responsibilities:

  • Risk Assessment Oversight:
  • Lead the execution of the ERM roadmap to enhance enterprise risk maturity.
  • Facilitate risk assessments and workshops with various business units.
  • Analyze risk data for trends and emerging issues.
  • Work closely with business units to develop and implement risk response strategies.
  • Manage the AuditBoard Risk Oversight system, ensuring accurate risk and control information.
  • Provide training and user support to maintain system integrity.
  • Business Continuity Management:
  • Oversee the organization’s business continuity program (BCP).
  • Design and conduct regular BCP tests and tabletop exercises.
  • Collaborate to evaluate test outcomes, identify gaps, and implement necessary actions.
  • Ensure plans are effective and aligned with current business operations.
  • Integrate continuity planning with ERM initiatives.
  • Crisis Management Support:
  • Collaborate with the Crisis Management Lead to ensure coherence between crisis response and BCP.
  • Provide operational support during crises and conduct post-incident reviews.
  • Executive and Board Reporting:
  • Deliver risk insights and strategic recommendations to senior management.
  • Assist in meeting financial and regulatory reporting obligations related to ERM and business continuity.
  • Prepare engaging materials, dashboards, and presentations for the Executive Leadership Team and Board of Directors.

Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise risk management, audit, compliance, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of risk frameworks such as COSO, COBIT, and ISO 31000.
  • Proficiency in AuditBoard or similar risk management platforms.
  • Experience in preparing reports for executive leadership and boards.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related area.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CRMP, CBCP, CISA) are advantageous.

Travel Requirements:

  • Occasional travel may be required.

Pay Transparency: The estimated annual base salary for this role ranges from $110,000 to $150,000, plus a discretionary annual bonus. Please note that pay ranges may vary based on location.
