The Role
The Solution Engineering Manager for Commercial, ASEAN will lead and scale the SE team across high-growth markets in the region. Working hand-in-hand with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Marketing, this leader will be responsible for driving technical wins at scale, building customer trust with startups and digital-native companies, and developing a high-performing team of Solution Engineers.
This role requires a player-coach who can navigate diverse, high-velocity markets - from rapid-growth technology firms and digital-native companies, to SMBs modernizing their data stack, to tech-forward enterprises across the region. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise across cloud data architecture, modern ELT pipelines, AI/ML, and analytics, combined with the ability to run a high-volume sales motion and translate rapid-growth customer challenges into compelling Snowflake solutions.
The person we are looking for is passionate about scaling teams and markets. This means running a high-volume motion while still rolling up your sleeves for strategic deals, coaching SEs through fast-turnaround proof-of-concepts, and representing Snowflake at meetups, startup events, and executive briefings across the region.
