RSM Risk Consulting is excited to invite applications for the position of Practice Managing Director - Technology and Transformation. This pivotal role will focus on providing innovative technology solutions for our banking clients.

As part of our team, you'll assist financial services clients in evolving into data-driven organizations, enhancing their risk management through integrated technology solutions. Our approach spans from strategic planning to design and implementation, leveraging industry and technical expertise to deliver insights and tailor-made solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead by providing thought leadership and recommending technology solutions, from automation to AI/ML.
  • Manage diverse engagements and steer teams that deliver direct advisory services, assisting clients in navigating complex business and technology challenges.
  • Expand your network and utilize existing connections to drive growth for the firm.
  • Participate in industry associations and events to maintain focus and build relationships.
  • Innovate and implement improvements, creating new processes and tools to modernize and enhance client operations.
  • Use your technical, industry, and risk advisory expertise to establish yourself as a trusted advisor to financial services clients, considering emerging risks and trends.
  • Embrace a human-centered design approach, conduct interviews and workshops, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Mentor and inspire future firm leaders, aligning their aspirations with available opportunities.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience leading large-scale programs and transformations in financial services.
  • Undergraduate or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • Prior experience in a consulting firm focused on technology consulting and process modernization.
  • Strong technology acumen with hands-on experience in large-scale software development and integration, particularly in cloud environments.
  • Proficiency in user-centered design, capable of leading discovery processes and quickly identifying business solutions.
  • Experience leading Agile delivery teams and implementing best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technology issues to business audiences.
  • Proven success in developing proposals, business cases, and cultivating new business opportunities.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely, with a willingness to travel for client engagements as required.
  • Relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, Access, and Project.
