Position Summary The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for improving production processes, increasing efficiency, and supporting quality and reliability initiatives in a high-volume manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Drive process improvements to increase throughput, reduce scrap, and improve equipment reliability Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions Develop and maintain SOPs, process documentation, and standard work Support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and DMAIC Design and improve tooling, fixtures, and automation systems to enhance efficiency and ergonomics Collaborate with Quality and Production teams to ensure process capability and product quality Support new product launches, including PPAP, FMEA, and process validation Optimize plant layouts and workflows to reduce waste and improve productivity Qualifications BS in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent experience)5–10 years of experience in high-volume manufacturing. Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies Hands-on troubleshooting experience with mechanical and electrical systems Experience with CAD (SolidWorks preferred) and GD&T Familiarity with automation, vision systems, ERP, and ISO/QS standards is a plus Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills Great Benefits - Health, Eye, Dental, 401K!
