Job Description

Manufacturing Process Engineer x3

  • Forney, Texas
  • 2x Days position and 1x Nights (Monday-Thursday)
  • $90,000 - $115,000
  • Industrial Automation Manufacturing

The role is heavily focused on process optimization, manufacturing engineering support, continuous improvement, automation, and cross-functional collaboration within a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment

Key Responsibilities

  • Optimizing manufacturing process yield, efficiency, and productivity through continuous improvement initiatives
  • Developing, maintaining, and validating manufacturing process data for new and existing products/equipment
  • Creating and updating work instructions and manufacturing documentation
  • Supporting New Product Development (NPD), including concept evaluation, prototyping, testing, and process validation
  • Working with Electrical and Mechanical Engineering teams on Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) reviews
  • Identifying and implementing new electronic assembly and manufacturing capabilities
  • Designing fixtures and tooling while coordinating with suppliers
  • Supporting engineering prototypes and first article builds while identifying process improvements
  • Collaborating with Quality Engineering to resolve manufacturing-related customer quality issues
  • Leading troubleshooting and root cause analysis activities for manufacturing/process issues
  • Supervising and supporting operator training in semi-automated manufacturing environments
  • Driving process automation and supporting equipment such as PLCs, robots, CNCs, and AGCs

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or related field
  • 4+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience within a production environment
  • Strong experience supporting automated manufacturing equipment and production lines
  • Knowledge of electro-mechanical assembly processes
  • Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis experience
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics
