We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support both New Product Introduction (NPI) and high-volume production in a fast-paced server manufacturing environment. This role will focus on process development, equipment optimization, system integration, and continuous improvement to ensure product quality, efficiency, and scalability.
We are seeking candidates with 4+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering within high-volume or complex production environments, with a strong background in process development, equipment support, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
🔧 Design, install, maintain, and troubleshoot manufacturing lines, equipment, tooling, and automated systems
- Provide daily engineering support to the assembly line, resolving issues related to tooling, equipment, materials, and process deviations
- Support NPI project development, feasibility analysis, and evaluation (layout, capacity, process, PFMEA, DFX, equipment, fixtures, automation, etc.)
- Develop, document, and improve assembly processes for rack, server hardware, sub-assemblies, and final system integration
- Provide technical expertise for Manufacturing Engineering on next-generation products (e.g., GPU platforms and rack solutions)
- Integrate server systems and validate mechanical builds, BOM validation, cable routing, etc.
- Create SOPs and train production line staff
- Define and implement standard procedures to achieve production quality and efficiency
- Validate and implement ECN/ECR firmware and hardware changes
- Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions for defects, yield losses, or equipment failures
- Communicate manufacturing updates, risks, and improvement plans to stakeholders
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or related roles
- Experience with system-level (L10) manufacturing processes
- Strong knowledge of fabrication, assembly, materials, tooling, and process control
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, team-oriented environment
- Strong communication skills in English (TOEIC > 500 or equivalent for non-native speakers)
Nice to Have
- Experience with AI server manufacturing and DLC processes, including NVIDIA-based platforms
- Familiarity with L10/L11 processes and high-performance computing systems
- Experience in high-volume manufacturing or NPI transitions
- Strong ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
