Manufacturing Engineer (Night shift)

Overview

Superform Consulting Pte Ltd is partnering with a well-established multinational company in the semiconductor industry to source for a Manufacturing Engineer. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a high-performing team, driving process improvements, optimising production efficiency, and supporting advanced manufacturing operations within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Job Summary

Lead production teams to achieve daily manufacturing targets while ensuring quality, safety, and operational efficiency in a high-tech environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead line leaders and operators to achieve daily production output, quality, productivity, and yield targets
• Conduct daily pass-down meetings to communicate updates and escalate line issues promptly
• Plan and manage manpower, overtime, and consumable resources to optimise production flow
• Enforce compliance with manufacturing and safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment
• Deliver training and coaching to leaders and operators to enhance team performance and skills
• Implement improvement initiatives to reduce human errors and increase operational efficiency
• Maintain discipline and housekeeping standards on the production line to support smooth operations
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments to support projects, evaluations, and preventive maintenance activities within the fabrication area

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Science, Production, or IT
• Experience in a high-tech, high-volume manufacturing environment
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Willingness to work 12-hour night shifts

Other Information

• Location: Tampines
• Working Days and Hours: 12-hour shifts (4-3-3-4), permanent night shift from 8 pm to 8 am
• Basic Salary: $4,000 to $5,500
• Shift Allowance: Night Shift $30
• Benefits: AWS, Quarterly Bonus, 14 Days Annual Leave, Company Transport
