About the position

You will be the Manufacturing Engineer Staff (Level 4) for the PAC-3 Munitions Acceleration team. Our team is responsible for the successful execution of a large ramp‑to‑rate effort with a heavy focus on supporting proposals, collaborating on make‑where decisions, and driving tooling from identifying the need to delivery and prove‑out. As the Manufacturing Engineer Staff (Level 4) you will be responsible for supporting proposals and coordinating the identification, design, procurement, delivery, and prove‑out of PAC‑3 tooling. The ideal candidate is a collaborative, detail‑oriented self‑starter who thrives in fast‑paced environments. You will have a direct impact on mission‑critical programs by delivering tooling solutions that enable rapid production and sustainment of advanced defense systems. Responsibilities

  • Generate Tangible Item Lists (TILs) and labor estimates to enable make‑where and make‑split decisions
  • Plan budgets, Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) activities, and coordinate make‑site efforts
  • Write Tooling Action Requests (TARs), develop tooling Statements of Work (SOWs), and manage priorities for design, fabrication, and prove‑out
  • Consolidate complex tooling status data into actionable insight for leadership and USG customers
  • Drive cross‑site and supplier collaboration to ensure timely delivery and successful verification of tooling

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering
  • Proficient in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
  • Ability to travel domestic and/or international
  • Experience supporting the design and fabrication of manufacturing tooling
  • Ability to obtain a Secret Security clearance
  • MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim Secret clearance is required to start.
