ABOUT THE ROLE
This Manufacturing Engineer will develop and optimize manufacturing processes for aerospace/industrial valves and actuators.
Responsibilities include creating routing, designing tools, programming CNC machines, and providing floor support in a high-mix, low-volume environment.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Support skilled machinists in the production of high-precision, regulated CNC machining.
- Lead improvements in productivity by recommending staffing efficiency and machine utilization.
- Assist in achieving quality, delivery, and cost targets.
- Lead by example to help strengthen accountability, professionalism, and a continuous improvement culture.
- Identify and help implement opportunities for the professional growth of machinists.
WHAT IS NEEDED FOR THIS ROLE
- Candidates for this role must be a US Person (under export regulations): US Citizens, a refugee/asylee, or a Green Card holder.
- Strong technical understanding of CNC machining, programming, and shop operations.
- Leadership experience within precision, high-mix / low-volume manufacturing.
- Ability to improve throughput and challenge teams technically and operationally.
- BS in Mechanical Engineering or the equivalent in education and experience.
