Job Description

Summary: The Manufacturing Engineer works with engineering and production to develop, document and improve capable manufacturing methods utilizing machines, materials, and workforce to improve the manufacturing of STULZ Air Technology Systems products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Study operations sequence, material flow, cell layouts, and project information to identify and eliminate waste

Develop manufacturing methods and labor utilization standards to eliminate time and material waste

Develop and conduct training

Design and conduct physical plant changes, jigs, and fixtures

Qualifications: Experience in production, optimization and training of manufacturing processes such as assembly, piping, and wiring

Knowledge of technology and materials used in the above processes

Knowledge of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement and Lean Six Sigma Methodologies

Knowledge of SAP manufacturing software

Knowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks or other drafting software

Self- motivated

Ability to keep a positive attitude when under pressure
