Hours and Pay

  • Pay Rate: $34 – $37 per hour
  • Schedule: Full-time

Daily Responsibilities

  • Lead new product introduction (NPI) efforts, ensuring manufacturability and smooth production launches
  • Optimize manufacturing processes and product flow to improve efficiency and reduce waste
  • Perform and document process and equipment validations (IQ, OQ, PQ)
  • Develop capacity planning models and facility layouts for equipment moves and expansions
  • Coordinate and deliver operator training for new and existing processes and equipment
  • Collaborate with vendors and cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and improve processes
  • Conduct time studies to establish and verify process standards
  • Drive cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support production through troubleshooting, process improvements, and workflow enhancements
  • Design and develop tooling, automation, and process improvements for existing production lines
  • Review engineering prints to ensure manufacturability and accuracy
  • Implement systems such as kanban and capacity planning tools
  • Partner with engineering and operations teams on technology and process improvement projects

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related scientific discipline
  • Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing engineering experience
  • Applied experience with Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma tools
  • Experience with FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis) and Design of Experiments (DOE)
  • Strong technical writing skills (protocols, reports, validations)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with equipment design and build
  • Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks preferred)
