Our client, a leader in advanced manufacturing, is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Process Engineer to optimize production processes and enhance operational efficiency. This role demands a deep understanding of manufacturing principles, lean methodologies, and process improvement techniques. You will be responsible for analyzing existing production lines, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing solutions to increase throughput, reduce waste, and improve product quality. The ideal candidate is hands-on, data-driven, and possesses strong problem-solving skills.Phoenix, Arizona, US is the primary operational location for this dynamic role.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze current manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, quality, and cost. Develop and implement process improvements using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen. Design, test, and validate new manufacturing processes and equipment. Create and maintain detailed process documentation, including work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and flow charts. Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and product defects. Collaborate with R&D, quality assurance, and production teams to ensure successful product launches and seamless integration of new processes. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production output, efficiency, and quality, and report on findings. Lead or participate in cross-functional teams to address complex manufacturing challenges. Manage process validation activities and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Develop and deliver training to production staff on new or modified processes. Evaluate and recommend new manufacturing technologies and equipment to enhance capabilities. Ensure adherence to safety regulations and promote a safe working environment. The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing process engineering is required, with a proven track record of implementing successful process improvements. Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and statistical process control (SPC) is essential. Experience with CAD software and process simulation tools is highly desirable. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills are critical. Strong communication and collaboration skills are necessary to work effectively with diverse teams. This role requires on-site presence to engage directly with production lines and teams.
