Market Data Analyst

Our client is a large reputed Financial services firm who have a large footprint within Hong Kong as well as globally, who are looking for a candidate to join their Market Data Team.

They are looking for a high-performer with 3-5yrs of Market Data or Reference data experience from Investment Banks or buy side firms.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

• Managing contracts, licensing, and permissioning for exchange data vendors
• Ensuring compliance with exchange policies, including real-time data and non-display licensing requirements
• Managing vendor relationships and supporting internal stakeholders
• Reconciling exchange invoices and understanding how billing is structured and calculated

To be eligible for this role you will require:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience
• 3-5 year’s experience working with market data, either at analyst level or equivalent
• Experience working with exchanges e.g. LSE, NYSE, Nasdaq, Bloomberg, FactSet, Refinitiv, etc
• Experience of permissioning systems such as DACS and EMRS
• Ability to analyse and interpret large datasets, predominantly in excel and to present the data in a meaningful manner
