Citi seeks Summer Analysts for its Commodities division in Houston, offering hands-on experience in trading, risk management, and market analysis within a top global commodities bank.
Your Role
Here’s what you will be doing:
- Work on assigned desks within the Commodities division, including risk management, marketing, origination, structured products, logistics, or fundamental analysis.
- Collaborate closely with salespeople and traders on the desk.
- Participate in a comprehensive training program.
- Engage with junior and senior professionals throughout the internship.
About You
The company is looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Currently obtaining a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, graduating in Fall 2027 or Spring 2028.
- Excited to work in the Houston, Texas office.
- Have a GPA of 3.3 or above from a variety of universities.
- Possess programming and statistics skills (strongly encouraged).
- Creative problem solver with intellectual curiosity about markets.
- Skilled in quantitative reasoning and programming.
- Hard-working, diligent, enthusiastic, and quick-thinking.
- Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Articulate in oral and written communication.
- Cooperative and focused on achieving group and client objectives.
- Detail-oriented.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $110,000 (within a full-time salary range of $80,000 - $115,000).
