Title: MDG Data Analyst
Location: 1575 North Gower Street Los Angeles California 90028 - Onsite
Duration: 12 Months Contract
Role Description:
The MDG Data Analyst (Temp) will support day to day master data governance operations in Oracle Fusion, with a primary focus on Enterprise Data Management (EDM), Title Management, and FCGL (Chart of Accounts). This role is execution focused and supports governed data creation, updates, validation, and workflow management in a high volume, deadline driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute governed master data requests in Oracle Fusion EDM, including creation and maintenance of Titles and FCGL dimensions.
- Support Title Management requests (Show, Season, Episode, Part), ensuring required attributes, hierarchy placement, and validation rules are met.
- Monitor EDM workflow queues, manage request status, and coordinate pushbacks/rework with requestors and reviewers.
- Support FCGL dimension requests (e.g., Company, Department, Account, Geography, Brand) following documented workflows and approval routing.
- Perform data quality checks and validate mandatory attributes to prevent downstream system and reporting issues.
- Assist with legacy mapping updates, data corrections, and controlled changes during cutover or freeze periods.
- Maintain basic documentation and job aids; reinforce standard processes with end users as needed.
- Track operational metrics (request volume, turnaround time) and flag risks or bottlenecks to MDG leads.
Required Skills & Experience
- 1-3 years in data, finance operations, ERP support, or master data-related roles.
- Hands on experience or strong familiarity with Oracle Fusion, EDM, or workflow based data tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow governed processes precisely.
- Comfortable working with structured data, validation rules, and Excel.
- Clear written and verbal communication; able to work across Finance and IT partners.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
Nice to Have
- Experience with master data governance, Title or content data, or finance master data (CoA).
- Exposure to workflow routing, approvals, and reviewer coordination.
- Experience supporting high volume operational queues or go live/hypercare environments.
