Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and improving mobility-related products and mechanical systems, ensuring functionality, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical components and systems for mobility products and custom solutions
- Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software
- Review and improve existing designs for performance, durability, and cost efficiency
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and operations teams for product development
- Ensure designs comply with safety standards and company requirements- Support prototyping, testing, and product validation processes
- Prepare technical documentation, specifications, and reports
- Assist in troubleshooting design-related issues during production or installation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Designer or similar role
- Advanced proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines - UAE experience is an advantage
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in mobility equipment, medical devices, or assistive technology
- Knowledge of fabrication and assembly processes
- Understanding of safety and quality standards
