Position Overview: We are on the lookout for a skilled Commissioning Engineer to join our Commissioning & Building Analytics team. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and exercise independent judgment to handle various tasks in a dynamic work environment. Your attention to detail and strong organizational skills will directly contribute to our mission of providing high-quality commissioning services that optimize building performance.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Implement commissioning processes in accordance with ASHRAE, CSA, and LEED standards.
• Carry out inspections and tests on mechanical, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, and control systems.
• Oversee commissioning projects from design through to post-construction.
• Create detailed commissioning plans, specifications, and testing protocols.
• Conduct field activities including site inspections and functional testing.
• Examine design drawings, specifications, and submittals for compliance with commissioning standards.
• Lead commissioning meetings and track detailed logs of issues.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferred).
• LEED AP certification.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering and field testing.
• 5+ years of experience in building commissioning.
• Familiarity with mechanical testing tools and data analysis techniques.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC&R systems, building management systems, and fire protection.
• Proficient in MS Project, Word, and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional Engineer (PE) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Certifications such as CEM, CBCP, or CPMP.
• Master Mechanic License.
• Experience with electrical testing equipment.
• Background in consulting or owner organizations.
• Facility Management experience.
• Experience in data centers or mission-critical facilities.

Work Location: Onsite at one of the following locations: Berkeley, MO; Dallas, TX; El Segundo, CA; Los Angeles, CA; North Charleston, SC; Seal Beach, CA.

Compensation: From $115,000.00 to $135,000.00 annually based on experience and qualifications.
