Position Description

SynEnergy is searching for an experienced Mechanical Engineer/Designer interested in high performance building design to join our Denver team. SynEnergy is a nationally recognized engineering firm based in Denver, Colorado.

For this Mechanical Engineer/Designer position, we are looking for someone with a minimum of 5 years of experience designing HVAC systems on applications ranging from multi-family units, commercial buildings, industrial, airports, hospitals, and high-tech facilities.

As a Mechanical Engineer/Designer, you will be responsible for design on various projects from the conceptual planning phase to design phase and construction administration. The ideal candidate has passion for working on complex projects, leadership, can inspire & mentor junior members of the team, enjoys a good work life balance and looking for career advancement.

Key Candidate Traits

• BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• US Citizen / Permanent Resident or Work Authorization (Required)
• Minimum of 5 years of mechanical engineering experience
• Minimum of 3 years of REVIT, BIM 360, Trane TRACE and NavisWorks experience
• Strong writing & communication skills
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making capabilities
• Energy modeling, EnergyPlus, eQuest (preferred)

Salary $85,000 - $99,500 a year
