About the Role
Join an industrial engineering company specializing in custom conveyor systems design, commissioning, and integration. We’re looking for an Entry-Level Mechanical Engineer eager to grow their skills in drafting, design, and project execution. This is a contract-to-hire role with strong internal promotion opportunities.
What You’ll Do
- Design and lay out mechanical equipment, components, and systems.
- Draft and detail engineering drawings using tools like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, MicroStation.
- Maintain project drawing files and prepare submittal documentation.
- Read and interpret shop drawings.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and attend client meetings.
- Optional travel to customer sites for product intake and installations.
- Participate in on-the-job training to accelerate your career growth.
Must-Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (GPA 3.7+ preferred; School of Mines graduates preferred).
- 0–2 years of experience in drafting/design.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, MicroStation).
- Ability to pass background check and drug test.
