We’re Hiring: Mechanical Engineer

Hampstead, London (Camden)

£45,000 per annum

Monday – Friday | 8:00am – 5:00pm We’re seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join a leading facilities team within a prestigious healthcare environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a critical hospital setting, ensuring essential mechanical systems operate safely, efficiently, and reliably to support patient care. What you’ll be doing:

✔️ Design, install, maintain, and manage mechanical systems across the hospital

✔️ Work on HVAC, plumbing, and medical gas systems

✔️ Carry out planned preventative maintenance and regular inspections

✔️ Ensure compliance with healthcare, safety, and regulatory standards

✔️ Diagnose faults and deliver effective, timely engineering solutions

✔️ Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including engineers, architects, and hospital staff

✔️ Maintain accurate records of maintenance, performance, and compliance data

✔️ Support energy efficiency and cost-saving initiatives across the site What we’re looking for:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• Proven experience in mechanical engineering within healthcare or facilities management
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and medical gas systems
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong commitment to health, safety, and regulatory compliance What’s on offer:
