About the role:
We are actively seeking 2 Mechanical Engineers-in-Training to supports the design, maintenance, and optimization of mechanical systems across the processing plant, mobile maintenance team and project teams. This developmental role provides structured rotations and mentorship to build technical expertise, safety leadership, and project management skills, preparing the EIT for
You’ll collaborate closely with operations and maintenance participating in daily performance reviews and continuous improvement projects.
Responsibilities:
Support preventive and predictive maintenance activities for mechanical systems.Assist with mechanical project work, including design reviews, installations, and commissioning.Troubleshoot mechanical issues, identify root causes, and suggest corrective actions.Maintain compliance with mechanical codes, LOTO procedures, and site safety standards.Prepare technical reports and keep drawings, diagrams, and maintenance records updated.Assist with project engineering tasks such as calculations, drawings, take‑offs, and tender scopes.
Coordinate with project, procurement, and field teams to track progress, resolve technical issues, and support reporting.
Qualifications
Key Skills & Knowledge:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.Eligible to work towards a P. Eng Certification in Ontario.

Salary Range: $70,800-$97,400
