Mechanical Engineer – Operations Team

Salary: $90,000 – $110,000 (DOE)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our Operations Engineering Team supporting onsite work at a major facility. This role is ideal for a self-motivated professional who thrives in an independent work environment and takes ownership of their responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and analyze mechanical systems, equipment, and components
- Develop procedures for safely isolating and servicing equipment
- Provide recommendations for repair or replacement of systems
- Assist in design reviews and preparation of project documentation
- Investigate equipment issues and prepare detailed reports
- Support ongoing operations engineering activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (preferred)
- 4+ years of mechanical engineering experience
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication and organizational skills

- Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines
- Must be reliable, trustworthy, and a strong communicator
- Valid Texas driver’s license and insurance
- Must pass background check, drug screen, and physical
- Must be eligible to obtain necessary site access credentials
