We are looking for a hands-on Robotics Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize our autonomous fleets in our SF development lab. This is a dedicated career path for technicians who love fixing complex hardware not a stepping stone to engineering.
The Role
- Live Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and software issues for robots operating 24/7.
- Preventative Maintenance: Disassemble, repair, and reassemble electromechanical systems to ensure 100% uptime.
- Engineering Loop: Partner with engineers to improve robot reliability based on real-world failure data.
- Diagnostics: Use multimeters, oscilloscopes, and Linux CLI to identify root causes.
Requirements
- Experience: 2+ years as a technician (Robotics, Automotive, AV, Drones, or Data Centers).
- Technical Skills: Electrical debugging (DC circuits, schematics) and mechanical assembly.
- Software: Proficiency with Linux/Command Line (SSH, checking logs).
- Mindset: A systematic debugger who enjoys independent problem-solving.
- Logistics: Full-time onsite in San Francisco; willingness to travel to customer sites is a plus.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
