MEP Engineer; Construction

Position: MEP Engineer (Construction)

Responsibilities

• Coordinate MEP subcontractors and manage their detailed programs and technical submittals
• Review MEP design drawings and shop drawings for compliance and spatial coordination
• Ensure all MEP installations are executed per approved drawings and specifications
• Lead MEP coordination meetings with consultants, Project Managers, and subcontractors
• Oversee testing, commissioning, and full snag resolution of all MEP systems
• Prepare and track MEP inspection requests, RFIs, and material approvals
• Report MEP progress, technical issues, and risks to the Construction Project Manager

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of MEP coordination and supervision experience on construction projects
• Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, LV, and ELV systems
• Experience with BIM and MEP coordination tools (Revit MEP, Navisworks preferred)
• Ability to read and interpret complex multi-discipline MEP coordination drawings
• Hands‑on commissioning, testing, and handover protocol experience
